The GMC Sierra nameplate covers a broader range than ever in mid-2026. At one extreme, Hennessey Performance just revealed a 700-hp supercharged V8 conversion for the gas-powered Sierra AT4. At the other, GMC's factory-built Sierra EV AT4 Max Range is now arriving at dealers with a 478-mile range and 725 hp from its dual-motor electric system.
Hennessey Goliath 700: Supercharged 700-HP Off-Road Build
Hennessey Performance has unveiled the Goliath 700 package for the GMC Sierra AT4, transforming the luxury off-road pickup into a 700-horsepower competitor to the Ford F-150 Raptor R and Ram 1500 TRX. The package starts with the available 6.2-liter V8, adding a supercharger, air-to-water intercooler, and stainless-steel catback exhaust with black tips. The result is 700 hp at 5,500 rpm and 611 lb-ft of torque, enabling a 0-60 mph sprint of 4.2 seconds.
Beyond the powertrain upgrades, the Goliath 700 includes upgraded suspension components, new upper control arms, 20-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch off-road tires, steel front and rear bumpers, a 40-inch LED light bar, and Hennessey badging. The package carries a three-year / 36,000-mile limited warranty.
Sierra EV AT4 Max Range: 478-Mile Electric Alternative
While Hennessey extracts maximum performance from the gas-powered Sierra, GMC's own engineers have taken the same nameplate in a radically different direction. The 2026 Sierra EV AT4 Max Range delivers an EPA-estimated 478 miles on a full charge, powered by a dual-motor e4WD system producing 725 hp and 770 lb-ft of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and can tow up to 12,300 pounds.
The AT4 Max Range rides on 18-inch wheels with 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler all-terrain tires and offers 10 inches of ground clearance. Standard equipment includes Super Cruise hands-free driving, a 16.8-inch vertical infotainment screen, MultiPro MidGate, MultiPro Tailgate, CrabWalk with four-wheel steering, and an 11-cubic-foot powered frunk. Pricing starts at $92,195.
Sierra EV Lineup Expands to Three Trims for 2026
The AT4 Max Range sits atop GMC's expanded Sierra EV lineup, which grew from a single Denali trim in 2024 to three for 2026: Elevation, AT4, and Denali. The base Elevation starts at $65,490 with a Standard Range battery (283 miles EPA). Buyers can step up to Extended Range (up to 410 miles) or Max Range (478 miles). The AT4 is available with Extended or Max Range batteries, while Denali offers all three.
