While it's difficult to be absolutely certain from just a picture, here's what to look for to get a good idea if a mat might be injection molded:

• Uniform thickness: Check for consistent thickness across the entire mat, especially in the corners and edges. Variations in thickness can suggest thermoforming.

• Complex textures and patterns: Intricate textures and patterns are a hallmark of injection molding. Simpler designs might indicate thermoforming.

• Perfect fit (if shown installed): If the picture shows the mat installed, look for a snug, edge-to-edge fit conforming precisely to the vehicle's floor contours. This precision is characteristic of injection molding.

Placement
